I don't know about you but...
I'm still so in awe of God. I'm in awe of you. I'm in awe of how God threaded His message onto the hearts of each woman who shared her story. And I'm in awe of how you showed up to a two-day conference despite life itself. Despite what was going on that day. Despite what you could've been doing otherwise. Despite what life threw at you. You showed up.
Isn't that what life is all about anyways–just showing up?
This conference exists to encourage everyday, REAL women to be confident in sharing their God-given voices with their communities. It's about equipping and encouraging you to live your days for Jesus over whatever the world tells you that you should be living for.
We hope you were able to come, leaving all the life gunk at the door...and letting God meet you right where you are. We hope you left encouraged and equipped to speak up into the people and community around you. We hope you left fulfilled in the knowledge that you are made in His image, you are known, and you are never too far from God. We hope you were challenged to look up and step out in faith toward the very thing that God might be asking you to do.
While this conference exists to encourage you and gives you the opportunity to spend uninterrupted time with like-minded women and God...we hope you feel empowered to go back into the normal, everyday stuff of live with the knowledge that you are HIS. That you can make a difference for the Kingdom in your life; that you are full of the Spirit and can do mighty things in His name; that you have a voice; that your identity and worth are in the one who created you.
You are His. You are worthy of love. You are forgiven. You are enough. You have purpose. You are light...
You have everything you need in Jesus to pour out His love and through Holy Spirit passion and your unique and gifted life to the people right in front of you.
So until next time...
"Now may the God of peace–who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood–may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever!" Hebrews 13:20-21
